Life lesson #1: Choose your clothes as you would your friends.

I was destined to become a clothes hound. I was the first and only girl in my kindergarten class to own and wear a paper dress. You read it right. My father came home one day with a paper dress for me. It was the early 60s. It was psychedelic, I loved it, and it could only be worn once, for at the end of the day I had to let it go – in the garbage. Talk about disposable items!

Life Lesson #1: Choose your clothes as you would your friends. Neither are readily disposable. Of course as time goes by you grow, outgrowing your clothes, sometimes outgrowing your friends. But remember, always choose with the intention to keep, and know that sometimes when we really love something or someone, we have to let go and set them free.
